Greetings ~

As I search and find Rukia renders, I also look about for several different art...

be it photos, poetry, renders, whatever.. I *JUST* like art!

Recently, I 'd a render which was GREAT! and so (as I usually do) placed it into a Collection cata...

However, after being informed that it was not the true artists creation, I noticed that it was removed (not by me) ~ rather by the person who claimed it as their own creation...

After looking at the situation, THAT was clearly - "theft" - that everyone harps upon here on DA.

I did not go back and attack that so-called artist ~ because that should be left to the DA staff and (of course) Karma also has a way to correct things on/in due time. (and in this case has)

Now I need to add this...

(Now) I ~ *know* ~ as I add some Rukia renders to The Rukia Shrine that (obviously) some are NOT of the artist...

DUH!

I know that, because I have seen the - *same* - image created as a different version all over the internet creation (and here as well) and yet I still manage to see them as "the" artists own creation... and have change them somewhat, by adding a background, and or colour change...

Now I consider a screenshot, as a FAN art, and when used as a render, and if one/you add to it... always add a disclaimer to say that YOU DON'T OWN that subject matter or character in question.

(at LEAST do that)

and some are soo blatantly changed that its ~ *just* ~ funny... and in actuality ~ too embarrassing to even be called theft...because its soo obvious ~ its laughable...

So I check ... and usually the artist is young.. (meaning between the ages of 13 - 21) and I (kinda) consider that.. forgiveable...


GASP ~ yea, I know and I can hear some of you...

"But, its still theft" - you say ...

But, being older, I think on this... ...and wonder just how many mistakes younger people (even older) make without realizing it?
I would say many and to say that we are perfect is completely wrong...
Besides, how many times have (we) made mistakes in our lives?

Plenty...

I usually don't complain about the art theft drama, because its a constant... thing that happens here...
~ and which has happened before within the art world and through time itself.
Just do some real research and you will see that it HAS happened ... way before this copyright BS...

I am on the fence concerning art theft.. to me its overused, and an abused term...

Everyone will have their points about this and - (who fucking cares) - I don't ~ and this posting is NOT intended to begin such facts, acts, or begin an argument over what's right or not...it's just stating truth is all.

Just that its a rarity that I confronted it soo blatantly this time around...
