1. I am an old man - really - I am 47 and (still) many people think I am making it up and saying this because I am trying to over-ride the security here! - LOL!
2. I like to cosplay, yep, even at my age I still do so, and I have a secret project that I am working on.
3. I have an art degree, along with a History degree, though its been years since I got them, I hardly use them any more.
4. I read reference books.
5. I have had several drawings, sketches, and a single painting that has been placed in a museum, though it was many, many years since it was displayed.
6. I have no pets.
7. I am Solitary...
8. I watch animé, and all related material, since the early 60's!

I guess (for some) it's a exclusive club and therefore think that people in my age group are not allowed to have a different approach to things.
I guess - we - are regulated to living in a Day Care for Adults, where we are supposed to play chess or checkers all day, and be seated in wheelchairs covered with flannel blankets.

They have to have some control, or they fear that imagination will go out of control! - Therefore stimulation of the senses will become forefront and rampant!
